Josh Keehne, Training & Technical Assistance Coordinator
Josh joined CCASA in January 2017. He was raised in Gunnison, CO, in a service oriented family. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps Infantry. Then, after his enlistment, while attending Western State Colorado University, he was selected to attend the National Social Justice Training Institute, where his passion for social justice work was sparked. Prior to joining CCASA, Josh was the Advocacy Coordinator for Project Hope, the community-based domestic violence and sexual assault advocacy center in Gunnison. There he provided direct client services to survivors, participated on multi-disciplinary teams, provided training and supervision to staff and volunteers, facilitated support groups, developed and facilitated prevention/awareness trainings to middle and high school students and other community members, and was responsible for data collection and reporting. Additionally, he often guest lectured at Western State Colorado University on various aspects of gender-based violence.
