About Judy Page
Judy’s career with victim services started 25 years ago, as a child care counselor for abused and neglected children. She then worked with homeless families in Capitol Hill for a year. It was as WINGS Foundations Executive Director for 8 years that she heard about CCASA and joined the organization.
Judy Page has been the Colorado Attorney General’s Victim Services Coordinator since 2000 and works as a one-person unit within the Department of Law’s Criminal Justice Section. She provides statutorily mandated victim services to crime victims under the Colorado Victim Rights Amendment during the appellate process and other victim services to the various sections of the Department of Law. She provides victim advocacy as needed to employees of the Office with victim issues, assessing needs and referring to community resources. Judy also serves as Victim Witness Coordinator for trials in the Criminal Justice Section.
Judy is on the Board of Directors for the Colorado Organization for Victim Assistance (COVA). She also serves on other advisory boards and task forces: Sex Assault Interagency Council, Sex Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) state advisory board, and Victim Services 2000 Network Steering Committees. She is a member of the Colorado State Domestic Violence Coordinating Council. She also chairs the Funding Recommendation Committee for the Colorado Domestic Violence Program.
Judy & CCASA
Judy has been a member of CCASA since 1992, and was on the CCASA Board of Directors for 9 years, from 1994 until 2004, chairing the Board the last 4 of those years. She has remained a member since then, occasionally working on the public policy committee.
