Freedom from Sexual Violence

Event: CRASH COURSE: Working With Deaf, DeafBlind, DeafDisabled & Hard of Hearing Survivors

CRASH COURSE: Working With Deaf, DeafBlind, DeafDisabled & Hard of Hearing Survivors

Deaf Overcoming Violence through Empowerment (DOVE) is a statewide agency that serves survivors of abuse who identify as Deaf, DeafBlind, DeafDisabled, and Hard of Hearing (DDBDDHH).
Thanks to recent One-Time Project funding from VOCA, DOVE is offering free online voice-interpreted training for anyone interested in getting an overview of how to support DDBDDHH survivors. The same exact webinar will be offered 4 different dates and times in 2017. Each session will be about 1 hour, with 15-30 minutes at the end for questions.

Please see the attached flyer for more details, including the links to register for the webinar date you prefer via Zoom. Upon registering you’ll be asked to answer a few true/false pre-test questions as an evaluation measure.

Email Avi at  avi@deafdove.org with any questions, and please feel free to pass the flyer on to your co-workers or other colleagues who may benefit. We hope this will especially be helpful for agencies in rural parts of Colorado!
