The Oregon Sexual Assault Task Force and the Colorado Division of Criminal Justice, Ending Violence Against Women Project, and Colorado Coalition Against Sexual Assault are pleased to present this free training for law enforcement on non-stranger sexual assault response and investigation.

Day 1: Monday, February 2nd, 2015

Non-Stranger Sexual Assault Response & Victim Interviewing

The Non-Stranger Sexual Assault Response & Investigation training provides basic and intermediate information on sexual assault dynamics, law enforcement response, preliminary investigation, victim interviewing and evidence collection and use. We will examine the latest research on the neurobiology of trauma and forensic experiential trauma interview (FETI).

Day 2: Tuesday, February 3rd, 2015  

Non-Stranger Sexual Assault Investigating the Offender

Provides law enforcement with current research on sex offenders including serial sex offender characteristics, tools for identifying serial sex offenders, detecting deception, and interrogation techniques.
