Statewide Sexual Assault Response Team Resource Manual

The Statewide Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) Resource Manual was developed in 2007 as a resource for communities who are working in multidisciplinary teams. Please feel free to download and distribute in your community. Feel free to call CCASA staff for any assistance in the process of building your SART.



Advocacy and Crisis Line Training Guide

The Sexual Assault Advocacy and Crisis Line Training Guide was released in March 2001 and is back in print and available to member programs. Please contact us if you would like us to ship you a copy. There is a $35 charge for non-member or out of state requests to cover the costs of printing and shipping.
 
The Sexual Assault Advocacy and Crisis Line Training Guide is a dynamic and comprehensive resource on sexual assault and a host of related issues. It contains both hotline/counseling training and informational components in its 300 plus pages. The content design is based on the feedback from CCASA members and it has been substantially expanded from the 1991 CCASA Training Manual. Topics include:

- understanding the effects of sexual assault

- culture & population perspectives
- setting as context for sexual assault

Colorado Evidence Collection Protocol

The Colorado Forensic Evidence Collection Protocol is now in print for distribution to member programs, Colorado SANE programs, and law enforcement agencies. The protocol is free to member programs and is $15 for non-members and out of state requests.

The protocol outlines recommendations for healthcare, legal, law enforcement, advocacy and forensic science professionals on the identification, collection and preservation of physical evidence and minimization of physical and psychological trauma to adult and child survivors of sexual assault.
