The CCASA committee members are engaged in important, focused work that benefits our membership. Each committee, with the exception of the Executive Committee, consists of representatives from the Board, Staff, CCASA membership, and the community at large. We are always looking for new committee members. Please see the Contact Us link to request more information about joining a committee or making a recommendation.

The Executive Committee meets regularly and has more hands on working knowledge of the organization and direct management of the Executive Director. They may also make decisions on behalf of the Board of Directors.
The Finance Committee oversees the fiscal management of the organization and reports financial status of the organization to the Board of Directors.
The Public Policy Committee works to influence the legislature on issues surrounding sexual violence and related oppressions. The committee reviews social policies concerning survivors, individuals, and various agencies and represents CCASA membership. The Public Policy committee may convene more frequently during the legislative session on an as-needed basis.
Development Committee develops and implements fundraising activities, CCASA special events, and strategic planning for long term fiscal stability, this also includes Board Development.
Inclusiveness Committee works to insure the organization is working in a way that is inclusive to all communities. The messaging and support services provided to the community need to be inclusive so every survivor will be able to access culturally relevant support and prevention services. They also work to ensure that CCASA is developing and implementing structures that create a non-oppressive work environment, which is conducive to individuality and cultural differences.
Rural Issues Committee works specifically to bring the needs of rural committees to the forefront.
Survivor Task Force is a group comprised of sexual assault survivors who develop ways to reach out to the community about sexual assault education and prevention topics.
