Onnastasia Cole

Onnastasia (she/her) joined CCASA in August 2023 with over five years of professional writing experience. Before joining CCASA, she worked as a policy advocate at a nonprofit dedicated to amplifying the voices of young adults furthest from power and privilege in the political process and as a grants specialist at a child advocacy center.

In her role, Onnastasia supports legislation development and outreach, provides technical assistance, and keeps members informed and engaged throughout the policy lifecycle. Additionally, she oversees CCASA’s Survivor Task Force (STF), where she supports survivors across Colorado in sharing their stories to effect meaningful policy change. She is passionate about elevating survivors’ voices and lived experiences and works to ensure their stories are heard wherever decisions are made.

Onnastasia holds a BA in English with a minor in strategic communication. When she’s not working or reading, she’s most likely listening to a podcast, cuddling with her cats, or enjoying the beautiful Colorado mountains.
