Purpose: To further individual and collective knowledge of RJ and TJ practices and their applicability to our field, by sharing resources, ideas, and challenges while building new skills and exploring avenues for applying RJ and TJ in support of survivors.

The SART Coordinators’ Group and listserv is for people who are engaging in a coordinated, collaborative effort to address sexual violence within their community. These efforts are often called Sexual Assault Response Teams (SART), Coordinated Community Responses (CCR), or Multidisciplinary Teams (MDT) and can exist within a county, judicial district, city, campus, Tribal community, or other jurisdictions and communities. The group shares resources, training opportunities, and troubleshoots issues. Meetings are held each month on the 4th Tuesday from 2:00-3:30pm. Join us for a 2-day opportunity to explore restorative and transformative justice to address sexual violence, the conference topics include:
♦ Understand yourself – See yourself in this work – Feel It – Practice It – Prep for It
♦ Group- Try It! – Circle Practice -foundational tool, and its uses for conflict/harm– High Impact Dialogues, Internal Organizational Accountability)
♦ Community – Planning and Act – Learn more about restorative and transformative justice frameworks and principles, how it can be used to address sexual violence, experience being in circle with each other, as well as learn and take back foundational tools to share with your community.
We value access and safety and strive to make our meetings accessible and welcoming to all participants; interpretation will be available upon request. Please note, we can only guarantee requested accommodations for registrations submitted before October 12th, 2023. Any request made after October 12th cannot be guaranteed but every effort will be made to accommodate those requests.
Schedule will be from 9am- 4pm daily with a break for lunch.
