Wednesday, March 22nd, 10:00 am – 11:30 am Mountain Time
Dual/multi-service providers, particularly those in rural communities, struggle to meet the unique needs of survivors of sexual violence. However, they also possess unique potential to provide excellent sexual violence services. The Sexual Assault Demonstration Initiative (SADI) was the first large-scale project to address the challenges dual/multi-service programs face in reaching survivors of sexual violence. This webinar will share the lessons learned from the SADI about the organizational changes dual/multi-service programs can make to meaningfully serve survivors of sexual violence.
Presenters will be Valerie Davis, Resource Sharing Project, Iowa Colorado Coalition Against Sexual Assault, Louie Marven, Project Coordinator, National Sexual Violence Resource Center (NSVRC), and Shayla Beaumont, Elevate|Uplift Coordinator, Minnesota Indian Women’s Sexual Assault Coalition.
Please note: This training was created for DVP Sexual Violence Services Project programs. DVP grantees are highly encouraged to attend, but everyone is welcome!
