This bilingual-bicultural Poderosa Voz workshop was created for emerging and aspiring Latinx leaders to explore and redefine executive presence and authenticity.

Vanessa Micale is a 2018 LEAP fellow of CALCASA (California Coalition Against Sexual Assault) and the WOCN (Women of Color Network). For the past 4 years, she has led public health violence prevention efforts in Portland, Oregon. Over a decade of her prior experience is rooted in social justice non-profit spaces, serving communities impacted by violence through trauma-informed approaches. She is a Uruguayan-American Latina. She is the creator of Poderosa Voz pop-up workshops that aim to cultivate resilience and creativity through popular education and connection to community.
