Covering a variety of topics, this training will provide in-depth information on working with Survivors of Sexual Violence
This all-day training will cover current and upcoming legislative policies effecting sex crimes, how advocates can work with Ralston House before/during/after the forensic interview, and study findings from the Traumatic Stress Studies (TSS) Group from the University of Denver with Dr. Anne DePrince. This training, while open to anyone working with survivors of sexual violence, is geared towards both novice and veteran advocates in the 17th JD wanting to improve their response to victims of sexual violence. This training is brought to you by the 17th Judicial District SART in collaboration with the Commerce City /Brighton Sex Assault Task Force.
