Wednesday, March 27th from 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm Mountain Time
Presented By: Nikki Hernandez, ACP Outreach Coordinator, Address Confidentiality Program, Colorado and Xitlale Garcia, New Participant and Bilingual Specialist, Address Confidentiality Program
This webinar will provide an overview of how the Colorado Address Confidentiality Program works to strengthen a survivor’s safety plan. We will explore ways in which our participants can use their substitute address with both private and public agencies and how victim service providers can help support survivors as Application Assistants.
Nikki Hernandez has been with the Colorado Address Confidentiality Program since January of 2017 and previously worked as a Confidential Victim Advocate for a community based organization. She enjoys being able to travel to all of the agencies across the state doing the important work of supporting survivors.
Xitlale Garcia began working with the COlorado ACP in July of 2018. At the ACP she processes all applications that are sent in by application assistants and contacts new ACP participants to help them get started with utilizing their substitute address. Xitlale is a new member of CCASA’s 2018-2019 Colorado Latinx Leadership Network.
