In January, Secretary DeVos announced that the Trump Administration would be issuing new regulations that undermine student sexual assault survivors’ rights. But before she can issue new rules, the Education Department has to start “notice and comment,” a critical process through which students and their families can provide feedback on the Trump agenda. Betsy DeVos said she’d start the rulemaking process in March. But it’s April and survivors are still waiting.
Now’s your chance to stay ahead of Secretary DeVos and her department. By mastering the Notice and Comment process, you can defend survivors’ rights. To help you prepare for Notice & Comment, Know Your IX will be hosting a webinar on April 18 at 8:00pm EST with Alyssa Peterson and Sage Carson.
