CCASA’s 2nd Annual Sexual Assault Advocate Training Institute provides 26* of the 30 training hours necessary to meet statutory requirements for advocate privilege.

The Sexual Assault Advocate Training Institute (SAATI) is designed for staff at community- and campus-based sexual and domestic violence advocacy programs. It is also appropriate for staff at law enforcement and district attorney’s victim assistance programs.
SAATI will increase participants’ knowledge and skills to support survivors of sexual assault as well as provide participants with information and tools to bring back to their agency to train other staff and volunteers.
SAATI covers core topics, including:
- sexual assault dynamics and effects
- culturally responsive crisis intervention and advocacy
- medical options
- criminal justice options
- civil legal options

CCASA Members: registration is FREE
Non-members: registration is $200
Registration will open Monday, September 21st. Priority will be given to CCASA member agencies and the first person who registers. Everyone else will be placed on a waitlist. If more than one person from your agency would like to attend, please discuss with your team to see who you would like to be given priority.
