The Sexual Assault Advocate Training Institute (SAATI) provides 26 of the 30 training hours necessary to meet statutory requirements for advocate privilege. This year SAATI will be offered virtually via Zoom.
SAATI is designed for staff at community- and campus-based sexual and domestic violence advocacy programs. It is also appropriate for staff at law enforcement and district attorney’s victim assistance programs. SAATI will increase participants’ knowledge and skills to support survivors of sexual assault as well as provide participants with information and tools to bring back to their agency to train other staff and volunteers.
*Schedule will be Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 9am-3pm, but end time may vary from day to day. Come prepared to do individual work as well as trainer-led activities.
