Event Details

Violence Free Colorado and the Colorado Coalition Against Sexual Assault are co-hosting this 1.5 day event on Thursday, September 12 from 9:30am-3:30pm & Friday, September 13 from 9:30am-12:30pm in Denver. The Summit is open to Executive Directors from member programs and DVP-funded organizations.

Leaders of organizations supporting survivors of sexual and domestic violence face challenges that are unique to this field. In addition to adequate financial resources to fund what we do , our success requires shared values, an effective work culture (how we do things), and a climate that feels compassionate, inclusive, and collaborative for staff. As we advocate for safety and justice for survivors, throughout our programs we also need to consistently offer support that centers  accessible, culturally responsive, survivor- driven, and healing -informed approaches. During our time together we will explore successes and challenges as we share tools, resources, and opportunities for connection to support resilience and your leadership.

Travel Scholarships: We can provide a limited number of travel scholarships for mileage, lodging, and/or per diem (meals). If you would like to request a scholarship, please complete the section(s) in the form.
