Join us for this virtual conference focused on giving victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking a voice through survivor-centered approaches. Survivors are often an afterthought in our current criminal legal system. As such, many survivors do not feel heard or that the process focuses appropriately on their needs and repairing the harm they have experienced as a result of the criminal conduct they have experienced. Survivors can often feel revictimized by the current processes and their confidence in the criminal legal system is low, leaving them dissatisfied with the outcomes. Our virtual survivor-centered conference for corrections professionals is critical to enhancing survivor-centered approaches while meeting responsibilities to the community and criminal legal system clients.
