The Rights of Incarcerated Victims of Crime: A Comparison of the Colorado Victim Rights Act (VRA) and the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) with Recommendations for Improvement. This report aims to examine ways in which PREA and the VRA are similar and dissimilar, identify areas where victims are not protected, and make recommendations for how existing law could be improved to enhance the rights of incarcerated victims of crime.
