Nissa Baker

Nissa has been an advocate for victims of crime in Colorado for the past 19 years. Her most recent employment was with the University of Denver as an advocate for the Center for Advocacy, Prevention, & Empowerment. In past positions, she worked as a Victim Witness Assistant at Adams County District Attorney’s Office, as an After-Hours Victim Advocate for the Denver Police Department, and as both Hotline Advocate and the Hotline Volunteer Coordinator for The Blue Bench (previously RAAP). Nissa also has experience working as a Case Manager with both the Mental Health Center of Denver and the Colorado Fund for People with Disabilities. She previously served on the Board of Directors for The Blue Bench from 2014-2017. As a passionate advocate for survivors of sexual violence, Nissa is dedicated to the mission of CCASA and is honored to contribute to the organization as a member of the Board of Directors.
