Addressing the New Title IX Changes in K-12
Thursday, July 2nd, 10:00 – 11:00 am Mountain Time
Panelists: Alexis King, Title IX Staff Attorney, Rocky Mountain Victim Law Center and Rebekah Ottenbreit, English Language Development Specialist and Title IX State Coordinator for the Colorado Department of Education (CDE)
CCASA is hosting a GoToMeeting to discuss how we anticipate the new Title IX Regulations released last month will affect how we address sexual violence in K-12 campuses in Colorado. To that end, we have invited two panelists to guide us through procedural changes as a result of the new regulations and briefly how COVID-19 has and will impact process and procedures on K-12 campuses. Alexis King, Title IX Staff Attorney at Rocky Mountain Victim Law Center and Rebekah Ottenbreit, English Language Development Specialist and Title IX State Coordinator for the Colorado Department of Education will be leading this discussion. CCASA is providing this space for everyone to share ideas, plans and collaborate on how to continue our work in K-12 settings.
Please note: Initial registration has closed, but you can still register! Because of the amount of registrations we received before the initial deadline, we cannot guarantee that questions you submit will be addressed.
