The EmpowerHer Conference is a free, statewide event dedicated to empowering and uplifting Black women and girls. This one-day conference will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM at the Kingdom Builders Family Success Center. Designed to inspire, educate, and equip participants with tools for healing, advocacy, and resilience, the EmpowerHer Conference will feature powerful speakers, engaging workshops, and thought-provoking discussions led by renowned experts in the field of trauma, racial justice, and empowerment.

Who Should Attend?

This conference is open to advocates, service providers, educators, community leaders, survivors, and anyone passionate about supporting Black women and girls in breaking cycles of abuse, healing from trauma, and building a future of empowerment and success.

 Morning Keynote Speaker: Stephanie Olson
CEO of The Set Me Free Project®, Stephanie Olson is an author, speaker, and advocate dedicated to preventing violence, promoting resilience, and equipping young women with the tools for self-advocacy.

Stephanie’s sessions will include:

  • Empowering Black Women and Girls: Breaking Cycles of Abuse
  • From Victim to Survivor to Advocate: My Journey of Healing and Leadership

 Afternoon Keynote Speaker: Crystal Bennett, LMSW
CEO/Founder of THRYVE LLC, Crystal Bennett is a dynamic leader, military spouse, and trauma survivor committed to dismantling systemic oppression and creating spaces for healing.
