WE OFFER:

This position is responsible for helping families in crisis due to intimate partner violence or sexual assault by providing case management and therapeutic interventions, life skills training, case management and referral services, and is housed at the Grand Junction Family Resource Center.

This position has a full time schedule M-Thurs 8a-5p, Fri 8a-3p, & occasional nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

The starting wage for this position is $26.50-$27.82 an hour. Accepting applications until this role is filled.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Provide face-to-face contact with active Intimate Partner Violence & Sexual Assault Services participants including groups, families, and individuals
  2. Provide educational, supportive interventions for clients including crisis intervention and safety assessments for residential and non-residential clients.
  3. Provide direct service to clients, including but not limited to, meeting with walk-in clients, conducting initial client interviews (including intake and assessment), providing referrals, developing safety plans, and engaging in ongoing case management for residential and non-residential clients.
  4. Maintain a case load deemed appropriate by supervisors, which requires effective time management skills.
  5. Maintain daily client contact as appropriate.
  6. Maintain documentation and client files with accurate, directive case notes and all other forms required by the Program model.
  7. Data entry of client files into digital database in a timely manner.
  8. Answer crisis line calls.
  9. Make presentations to the community and collaborate with other agencies.
  10. Coordinate collaborative efforts to aide in the service of Intimate Partner Violence & Sexual Assault clients with other agencies within the community.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Verbally translate for employees who are not bilingual in the event such services are needed.
  2. Assume staff back up duties as needed on call.
  3. Provide training for new staff.
  4. Represent the program and organization at community or state tables, and/or other non-client related assignments.
  5. Provide on-call services for the program on a rotational basis, including evening and weekend assistance.
    Attending meetings as assigned.
  6. Other duties as assigned.

  • Tuberculosis (Tb) Skin Test
  • Influenza Vaccination (recommended)
  • Hepatitis B Vaccination (recommended)
  • Any other vaccination required by licensing
