Attendees will learn about the various rights afforded to victims/survivors as they navigate the criminal justice system. Issues related to privacy will be discussed. We will discuss confidentiality, releases of information/waivers, who has the right to waive privilege/confidentiality, etc. We will also give practical tips for how advocates can offer support to victims/survivors as they make important decisions about their private information.
