Deaf Overcoming Violence through Empowerment (DOVE) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to serving victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in the Colorado Deaf community. This webinar will focus on the unique challenges that deaf or hard of hearing survivors face when seeking help after they have been victimized, particularly when calling crisis lines. Tools, tips, and best practices will be shared to better serve deaf or hard of hearing survivors and to avoid re-victimization. It also highlights the services that DOVE offers. This training is ideal for all service providers.
