Onnastasia joined CCASA in August 2023 with over five years of professional writing experience. Before joining CCASA, she was a Policy Advocate with Young Invincibles, a nonprofit dedicated to amplifying the voices of young adults in the political process and expanding economic opportunity. Most recently, she worked as a Grants Specialist at CASA of the Pikes Peak Region, where she raised funds to help provide a volunteer’s voice in court for child victims of abuse and neglect in the 4th Judicial District.
As a first-generation college graduate, Onnastasia has a passion for policy and advocacy work and strives to use her skills to drive social change. She believes in the power of storytelling and looks forward to working with survivors to help create a Colorado free from sexual violence.
Onnastasia has a Bachelor of Arts in English with an emphasis in professional writing and a minor in strategic communication. When she’s not working or reading, she’s most likely cuddling with her cats, listening to a podcast, or enjoying the beautiful Colorado mountains.
