Be part of the Communities of Color Alliance (CoCA) Comeback Kick-Off Meeting!

Thursday, April 4th, 12:00 p.m. on ZOOM

The Communities of Color Alliance (CoCA) is a diverse collective of professional and grassroots advocates that identify as people of color. The group was created in order to raise community awareness, response, and commitment to BIPOC workers to recognize the intersections of race, sexual violence, and other forms of oppression.  CCASA is providing a space for advocates who work in the sexual assault field to connect, feel in community, and to feel understood and supported. Join us at noon on April 4th to spend time together as part of a culturally specific BIPOC network effort. 

• Determine the frequency and duration of the meetings
• Re-establish goals and purposes of the group
• Anyone who identifies as part of the BIPOC community is welcome
• Meetings are a casual, safe place to come authentically, share, be heard and validated in your experiences. 

The primary goal of CoCA is have a safe space to connect with other BIPOC advocates from around the state and share experiences.  In this space advocates can support each other, share barriers, co-create and share possible solutions to existing obstacles.  CoCA will also be a community where advocates can celebrate each other’s successes! By hosting this space, CCASA will be able to collaborate and support BIPOC advocates throughout their journey.
