Assistant Director of Advocacy Services

The Assistant Director of Advocacy Services for the Center for Advocacy, Prevention and Empowerment (CAPE) serves as the primary victim advocate for the University, providing advocacy, support and case management services to any member of the DU community who is a victim/survivor of sexual assault, stalking, domestic violence and other gender violence. This position is responsible for training and supervising CAPE advocacy staff and trainees as well as working in collaboration with Health Promotion and Counseling Services to enhance current initiatives and develop new initiatives that increase awareness of and response to sexual assault and gender violence situations. This position is responsible for embedding inclusive excellence (equity and diversity) initiatives into advocacy work, treatment provision, and outreach initiatives. The Assistant Director of Advocacy Services reports to the Associate Director/Clinical Director of Counseling Services. This is a 12-month, full-time position.
